WIMS is proud to partner with the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland to put on an annual event to help spark an interest at a young age in STEM subjects in our future physicians, engineers, scientists, and mathematicians. “Detective for a Day” puts the girls’ problem-solving skills to the test as they attempt to solve a mystery using math, science, and technology.

This event is hosted every Spring at The Ohio State University’s Ohio Union. More information, including details on registration, can be found on the GSOH website.

In addition to our "Detective for a Day" event, WIMS offers smaller-scale outreach programs that introduce STEM topics in a fun, interactive manner at Columbus-area libraries, schools, and after-school programs.
